It's raw and writing is questionable at times but what it does well it creating suspense. It keeps the audience at the edge of their seat and does not have any dead or boring moments, and does all that in a beautiful small-town mountain scenery of Canada. Although different it reminded me a little bit of one of the better part of Fargo episodes.
I applaud the straight-up character buildup and presenting the human dilemmas quickly and efficiently. So, sure this movie is not perfect, it could use a better special effects and I wouldn't mind a stronger ending, but overall it is entertaining and the director and actors do an excellent good job of carrying the story. I would recommend it dearly if you like suspense and inspiring sceneries please give this movie a look.
